Having Fun and Being Happy

June 8, 2011
Spending a lil time with the sister and mister over the weekend and a bevy of fun outings…We spend our chit-chit session at one of our favorite restaurant Ole Ole Bali. Gosh I miss this place and the food. YUM* I had a great time catching up with my sis and the mister. I’ve hardly had a chance to recharge my batteries before jumping straight into the workweek! Did I say workweek? No…I’m working everyday~ sigh…

Having fun versus being happy: two of the same or completely different? Having fun implies temporary gratification, but being happy is a life-long process. I guess =)~

Loving the deco~

My favorite Barley Lime. The glasses came with a folded up pandan leaf and lime for presentation sake. After all, they had already dumped a ton of pandan flavoring into the barley lime. Nevertheless, it taste really good and refreshing.

Our favorite Squid Salad. It goes with sour sauce dressing. surprisingly, the sauce goes well with the salad. Love it!

Have a nice day people xo~

Sorry about the crickets here on the blog over the past few days. I’ve been really busy recently, there’s so much to do, so little time…It’s no fun at all. Thank god the mister help me out a lil. Well all the hard work definitely paid off! I’m learning a lot and I’m happy with the results =). Gotta give myself a pat on the back~ I am so so so tired today. Sipping away at my coffee in hopes of finding some much needed energy. Today I’m so gonna take a nap!

I Think I fall In Love Again

June 3, 2011

As you know I don’t talk about guy fashion…this blog is mainly about GIRLS! But There’s something quirky about this guy that I really wanna talk about. I think he’s every girls dream guy…or maybe just me~ He’s one of my favorite celebrity guy crush ever since I watch young Hercules. I know that was so long ago =)…and I immediately fall for him after watching the epic romance movie ‘The Notebook’. Yeap you guess it right is the charming Ryan Gosling.

He’s not the mainstream pretty poster boy but he has classic features like that of a 50s movie star. This guy have attitude and I really admire his acting skills, but I had never realized how amazingly stylish he is. He dresses classic Bad Boy…very elegant, not all jewelery, the too messed up converse…It’s all about layering basic wardrobe, easy and laid back. It is not too artsy almost kinda 90s elegant and formal looks, and I can say that Ryan Gosling is the best dressed actor right now.

I’ve found a few stylish pics of Ryan, and I have to share it here!

Needless to say he’s one hot stylish man! Look at all these pictures~ *Faint* Maybe it isn’t just the style…maybe it really is just him =D

Job Hunting?

June 2, 2011

I’ve created another look =) Hope you girls love it!

I think I should scout for a job…like being a fashion stylist! Haha~ ok you probably thought I’m joking. Seriously I’m not =). I always love styling and I know It’s not easy. Being a stylist you must have a good sense of “what’s in” color and styles and what looks good on a body and basically just help shop from what’s available. You need to picks out clothes for photo shoots, picks out what clothes go on the mannequins window displays at stores, and decide what clothes are going to be “it” for that season.

Well besides that, the best thing about being a stylist is that you have to look good all the time especially if you need it for your job. And even if you are just working inside the office the whole day, you still wish to look beautiful and gorgeous not for the sake of other people but for yourself.

I guess I should start job hunting! =D Have a great day people~

The discussion yesterday about how to earn money when you’ve lost your job got me thinking about ways to earn extra income outside regular employment. None of these are quick fixes, but they’re ways to generate cash in your spare time.

If you are reading this article, then you are definitely looking for ways to earning extra money, and you are in the right place. There is just too much information online on different ways of how to make a quick buck or get rich easily and quickly without shedding a sweat. Wait. Didn’t I just write that blogging is no way to get rich quick? Absolutely! But blogging can be a way to supplement your income. If you have a subject that you’re passionate about, and if you like to write, a blog can let you earn extra money from your expertise. But do you know you can earn that extra cash without a blog?

Worries no more! With Nuffnang Grapevine you can now share interesting ads with ya friends on some of the social media platforms you are active on like Facebook, Twitter, Instant Messenger or email.

How to share!

It’s very very simple! When you spot the Grapevine banner ad on any blogs, you can just click on any of the 4 buttons – Twitter, facebook, Email or MSN status to start sharing~

But if you don’t have an account on any of the 4 main social media platforms, you can still click on the ‘Share’ button to copy the link and share it on other online platforms like forums or portals.

p/s: Always remember to keep the unique link if you want to share it on other social media platform throughout the campaign.
This is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

Now this is the INTERESTING part! I bet you guys will love this~ guess what? You also get REWRDED by every click generated on your link! So what are you waiting for? Start sharing ads now!

Well sometimes it’s super easy for me to write blog posts when I either have something interesting or equally unimportant to share, other times I can sit here for half an hour struggling to find words, any words, to fill out a post. Today is one of those days. Arhhh~ Maybe it was because I’ve got all these workload and stress distracting me. That’s the only thing I can think of WORK! Guess my stress levels likely rise with thesedistractions~I’m going off to work again! xoxo~

What I wore:
Totally forgot about these pictures, Took these picture sometimes ago. I wore this to a pretty chill day out for TCE’s LookBook shoot. Let’s start from the top. I’m loving the scallop details alot. I thought it’s feminine and cute at the same time. This gorgeous imported top with scallop details is a definite must have! Sweet and demure piece that speaks for itself!

Now the midi pleat skirt. Pleat skirt is my favorite too.

pleated skirt, was a staple on the Spring 2011 runways, where designers played with lengths, patterns, and styles. Pleating was used primarily for mid length, and spring dresses. Chiffon was the definite fabric of choice, which created an airy, ethereal effect~
